BRL's Program Update -- Containment Measures for COVID-19

Maintaining the health and safety of others is our top priority.  Blue Ridge Literacy is adhering to the guidelines set forth by the City of Roanoke and the Virginia Department of Health as our nation deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective Monday, March 16 -- Blue Ridge Literacy will be closed until further notice.  This includes on-site and off-site classes and all BRL events, including the upcoming Scrabble tournament, which will be postponed and rescheduled in the near future.

We will continue to keep the community updated on further changes regarding our programs and events via email.  Please visit this website or our Facebook page for the latest information.  If you have questions, please contact us at

We appreciate your patience as we all move through this challenging situation together.
