Meet the Team

Ahoo has been involved with Blue Ridge Literacy since 2016.  As Executive Director, she brings unique academic and professional experience working with vulnerable populations, including refugee and immigrant groups in the Roanoke Valley.

Sara has been with Blue Ridge Literacy since 2015.  She brings her expertise in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and experience teaching in the United States and abroad to develop sustainable language programs to adults in our area.

Silvia is an experienced ESL teacher who has taught English in Ecuador, South Korea, and now the United States.  Her international teaching background has helped her develop a strong understanding of diverse learners and language development.  She is passionate about supporting students as they build confidence and succeed in English.

Robin has been with Blue Ridge Literacy since 2013.  She has a long history of non-profit experience and is devoted to creating a safe and productive space for everyone.
