After 20 wonderful years -- including one memorable year of Boggle during the pandemic -- Blue Ridge Literacy will not be hosting our Annual Scrabble Tournament this spring.

In recent seasons, we've experienced a decline in sponsorships and participating teams, making it increasingly difficult to sustain the event in the way it deserves.  While this was not an easy decision, we believe it is the right one at this time.

We are deeply grateful to the many sponsors, teams, volunteers, and community members who made this event such a special tradition over the years.  Your enthusiasm and generosity helped create an evening that celebrated words, learning, and community -- and supported adult learners across the Roanoke Valley.

We look forward to exploring new and meaningful ways to gather in support of our mission in the future.  Thank you for being part of this tradition and for your continued support of Blue Ridge Literacy.  We cannot do this work without you.
